The centerpiece of Control Room A: A very unique and heavily customized 36 channel Trident 80, built in London around 1979. Unlike the standard series 80 console, it incorporates 24 TSM EQ modules which can be inserted at the flick of a switch. Some of our modifications: Modified mic preamps, switchable insert point for pre and post EQ, switchable summing bus options for different "flavors" (Trident T80, Neumann V475, Telefunken V672, Lawo DV975), improved signal chain with opamp upgrades, altered gain staging for our specific workflow, bigger coupling caps, and more.
