Our Rooms

With us, no-one is left in the dark: the very quiet and acoustically tuned rooms have insulated walls and double windows with 2cm soundproof glass and custom acrylic reflectors - for excellent acoustics in full daylight.

We offer the ‘Saloon’:  a 65 sqm recording room with adaptive acoustics, a Yamaha grand piano and additional instruments. Our 18 sqm daylight recording booth is optimized for drums, percussion, amps and solo instruments. The richly equipped Control Room A features a Trident 80 console and Control Room B is ideal for smaller or digital productions.

The Saloon

The cozy 65 sqm recording room with controlled, yet warm sound features custom modular movable walls, broadband absorbers and modular diffusers that allow for flexible acoustics.

The room is equipped with a Yamaha grand piano, a Fender Rhodes Mk II and a Hammond C3, among others. In addition, a Martin PA when live sound is required, and a mobile mixing station for individual monitoring.

Our mix suite includes a unique modified Trident 80 console, a large selection of outboard effects and a window to the recording booth. If desired, we can provide 100% analog mixes from a 2"/24 track tape machine to 1/4" stereo, or, of course, a "hybrid" ProTools or Cubase mix setup with a large collection of plugins and top-of-the-line audio converters such as Forssell, Benchmark, Lynx Aurora and SSL.

Acoustics are optimized for reliable results. Ultra-clean passive monitor controller from IJ Research, monitors from Neumann and Amphion.

A fully equipped control room with a Curuxa Customs ergonomic work table, Studer 089 MkII console, high quality converters and preamps, Neumann monitors and Yamaha NS10, large 384-point patchbay and connections to every room.

Green Lobster Regie B

This room is rented out for recordings and as an editing suite, but has also proven useful as an additional booth during voice-overs and for solo instruments.

The Cabin

Our 18 sqm daylight recording booth with a window to control room A has low-resonance, yet lively acoustics. 

Cabin B

It is optimized for drums, percussion, amplifiers and solo instruments. The acoustic design is by Peter Willensdorfer.
